Garlic Herb Olive Oil Dip
This is the fastest way to show off the grater: fresh garlic melts into olive oil for a simple bread dip that tastes like it took far more effort.
Ingredients
- 1 peeled garlic clove
- 1/3 cup good olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic or red wine vinegar
- Chopped parsley, basil, or oregano
- Pinch of flaky salt and black pepper
- Sourdough or French bread for dipping
Method
- Lightly wet the grater and grate the garlic into a smooth paste.
- Add olive oil, vinegar, herbs, salt, and pepper directly to the dish.
- Let it sit for a few minutes, then serve with warm bread.
